All programs meet at Rosenwald  community center, unless stated otherwise.  Preregistration required for all classes, but participants may start any time.

cheerleading

Cheerleading I

This beginner cheerleading program is designed to teach the fundamental skills needed for cheerleading routines. Participants will learn arm motions, jumps, and cheers needed to perform cheerleading skills. Each child will receive a set of pompoms and a routine booklet during the first class. 

  • Mondays, February 26- April 2
  • 5:30-6:00 p.m.(3 1/2 to 5 yrs.)
  • 6:10-6:40p.m.(ages 6-9 yrs.)
  • $20/ child/ 6 week session


Parent’s Night Out
This program is offered to provide parents with a chance to drop their children off at Rosenwald for an evening of fun, age-appropriate activities while they can go out on a Friday night and relax. This program, for children between the ages of 4 and 12, will be well-supervised, and limited in size.


  • Friday, February 23 (game-night themed activities)

Stretch-n-Grow (ages 2.5-5 years)

In this program, your child will be learning exercises with proper form and technique. Each class begins with a warm up story or song and focuses on the importance of warming muscles before starting any physical activity. In the Stretch-n-Grow workout, students will use a variety of fun fitness materials such as bean bags, hurdles, scarves, and more!

Camp Fit (ages 6-10 years)

Come join in on these fun, energetic, & heart-pounding fitness classes. Each class focuses on strengthening & conditioning, muscle recognition, flexibility, sports-readiness, & nutrition. Classes incorporate music & equipment & contain non-stop, interactive activities.

Outragious Eggs

Outrageous Eggs (ages 5-10 yr.)

Design colorful eggs using handy household items. Each participant will decorate 6 hard-boiled eggs (included) to take home, using a variety of fun techniques. Register before March 20.

3 on 3 Basketball Tournament

Teens and adults can get together for a fun afternoon and test out their basketball skills at this informal competition. Winning team gets 3 Zeus movie tickets. There is no charge, but pre-registration is required by Friday before each tournament.

Kids' Klub


The program will feature a special activity, along with opportunities to participate in various stations of your choice, including: craft projects, games, construction and occasional cooking, and fitness activities. Parent's are encouraged to stay.
