Applying for Employment
The City of Waynesboro offers a variety of municipal career opportunities for men and women interested in public service.  There are more than 150 job classifications including clerical, administration, public works, public safety, and human services fields. Job listing opportunities are updated as required.  To apply online, please use the Sign In button at the top of the page.  If you do not have a username or password you can create one.  Once signed in, use the Apply Online button to apply for a position.

You must submit an online application (sign in required) for each position for which you are applying, unless otherwise specified. All questions on the application must be answered completely, do not type see resume for any application section. An electronic copy of your resume may be submitted along with your application, but not in lieu of one.

Each position listed in our job openings includes minimum qualifications. Applicants not meeting the minimum qualifications listed for a positions will not be considered for employment. All required documents must be provided with the application, incomplete applications cannot be processed.

If you are selected for an interview, additional documents may be required. Each position posting includes a closing date, and applications will not be accepted after said closing date. Applications will not be held for future postings nor will they be excepted without a specific position listed. Stating, any available position(s), is not acceptable.
