Approval of Minutes:

Consider adopting the minutes for the December 8 and 9, 2017 Council Retreat and the February 12, 2018 Regular Business Meeting, and dispense with the reading of the minutes. 
2.b.

Commissioner of the Revenue Refund Request:

Consider approving a request from the Commissioner of the Revenue to issue a refund of $297.80 plus interest to a taxpayer for 2017 personal property taxes paid in error.
2.c.

General Registrar’s Office Relocation:

Second consideration/adoption of an ordinance relocating the General Registrar’s Office from 250 S. Wayne Avenue to 503 West Main Street, Suite 103, Waynesboro.

2018 Waynesboro Comprehensive Plan Draft:

Receive a presentation from Mr. Charles Buki, czb, LLC, regarding the 2018 City of Waynesboro Draft Comprehensive Plan.

Parks and Recreation Sunset Park Access Road Funding:

Consider adopting a resolution for Sunset Park Recreational Access Road funding.

City Council Values and Vision:

Consider adopting a resolution ratifying the City of Waynesboro Values and Mission Statement.

APPLICATIONS AND COUNCIL ACTION:

6.a.

Wayne Theater Grand Gala:

Consider approving an application from the Wayne Theater to allow the closure of a portion of Main Street and the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on city property on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. during the Wayne Theater’s Grand Gala.

Fall Foliage Art Show:

Consider approving an application from the Shenandoah Valley Art Center to allow the closure of certain streets and the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages on city property on Saturday, October 13 (from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.) and Sunday, October 14, 2018 (from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.) during the Fall Foliage Art Show.

ORDINANCES - Consider introducing the following:

7.a.

Police Department – Vehicle Purchase:

Appropriating $13,803 of State and Federal Asset Forfeiture Funds for transfer to the Equipment Fund, to provide funding for a used vehicle for the Detective Division of the Police Department.

Police Department – Vehicle Purchase –

Appropriating $6,000 from the General Fund for transfer to the Equipment Fund, to provide funding for a used vehicle for the Detective Division of the Police Department.
