Mapping Information Available On-line
The City of Waynesboro has recently developed a GIS-based (Geographic Information System) internet mapping service that is now available for public use.  This mapping application allows an individual to interact with specific types of geographic information, including land records, streets, aerial imagery, etc. Users can pan and zoom, export geographic information, perform queries, and more.  Access to the Internet Mapping Service can be found by selecting the Mapping link on the menu list at the left.

Year of the Wood Duck Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Waynesboro’s Constitution Park.  This free annual event takes place riverside and promotes environmental conservation and watershed stewardship in the Shenandoah River Basin.  Activities include Reptile Shows, Stream Safari, Fish and Fun Rodeo, Canoe Rides, Kids Arts & Crafts, Stream Electro-fishing, and is capped off by the Great South River Duck Race. 2nd Annual Park To Park Half Marathon
Experience the best views in the Shenandoah Valley on this 13.1 mile point to point course connecting Waynesboro’s Ridgeview Park to Augusta County’s Stuarts Draft Park. Gently rolling hills, mountain vistas and beautiful serene river crossings make this Park to Park course a must do spring race. The race will be completely supported with fully stocked aid stations and a post race party at the finish line.
