An assistive workstation with an adjustable table providing internet access and a word processing program is available for patrons who need wheelchairs. Zoom text has been loaded on this station to enlarge the type to help patrons with low vision. In addition, Waynesboro Library has an Aladdin Magnifying Machine for patrons with visual problems.
A hands-free mouse is available on WPL’s adaptive computer station for patrons with limited hand mobility. The software works with an infrared camera and a reflective dot. Those interested in using this service should contact the IT Specialist for instruction or to obtain a reflective dot. SmartNav was donated by Spirit Roller Ministries of Waynesboro.
