The Mapping Program develops and maintains accurate depictions of the City of Waynesboro’s topography and infrastructure.  Mapping also works in conjunction with the GIS Department to maintain accurate representation of the City as a whole.  The infrastructure that is located and maintained by the Engineering Mapping Program are Streets, Water, Sanitary Sewer, Storm Water, Traffic, Bridges and any project within the City right-of-ways.  Mapping serves as the contact for City and public request to perform work within City right-of-ways.  A link is provided above to the request form for maps.

Mapping is also responsible to organize and maintain the Engineering Division’s Library that contains plans, as builds, files, and other historical information.  The public may make an appointment to review the information that is stored in this library for their project during normal business hours.
