FY19 and 20 CAPSAW Request for Proposals

The CAPSAW Board of Directors reviewed funding requests totaling over $520,000 from 27 programs for the next fiscal year.  Unfortunately CAPSAW did not have the resources to grant every request.  Priority was given to programs that directly related to CAPSAW’s mission, addressed multiple strategic objectives and provided services impacting both the CAUSES and CONDITIONS of poverty.  Additional areas of consideration included a well thought out program plan and logic model, adherence to best practices in program management and financial oversight.

The approved allocations are listed below.  Funding amounts are based on estimated federal, state and local budgets.   If CAPSAW receives cuts in funding, this amount will most likely be reduced proportionately.  FY 19 budgets and outcomes will be developed with the CAPSAW Director prior to contract signing.  Funding levels for FY 20 will be determined during the CAPSAW Budget review session in the spring of 2019.

Agencies awarded funding in FY 19 should submit the FY 20 Renewal Application by Tuesday, April 16th.  Please contact CAPSAW staff for more information at valleycapsaw@gmail.com or by calling 540-292-0017.
