RESOLUTION – ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PERFORMANCE AGREEMENT


Consider adopting a resolution endorsing an Economic Development Performance Agreement between the City of Waynesboro, Waynesboro Economic Development Authority and MP, LLC to fund construction of public improvements in support of the Waynesboro Market Place commercial development at 1930 Rosser Avenue (former Ladd School site).

Consider introducing and adopting an ordinance appropriating CARES Act funding, in the amount of $300,073, to the School Funds, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.

Consider introducing and adopting an ordinance appropriating various miscellaneous revenues received, in the amount of $14,329, to multiple funds, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021.

Consider introducing an ordinance appropriating a portion of Refuse Fund net position, in the amount of $80,000, to the Refuse Fund, for brush grinding services.

APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE – SCADA SYSTEM UPGRADE FOR WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT


Consider introducing an ordinance appropriating a portion of Sewer Fund net position, in the amount of $110,000, to the Sewer Fund, to update the SCADA System for the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).

2. Comments may be submitted online at www.waynesboro.va.us.  Comments submitted prior to Monday, February 22, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. will be noted at the meeting and incorporated in the minutes of the meeting. 
3. .            Citizens may call in comments when the Citizen Comment Period is opened.  Calls will be answered in the order in which they are received.

g.            Wait until you are prompted by the moderator, then share your comments with Council.  Participants are reminded that though the prerecorded prompts refer to questions, the public hearing and citizen comment portions of the meeting are a time for Council simply to hear your comments.
