CONSIDER ADOPTION OF CONSENT AGENDA

Any item placed on the consent agenda shall be removed and considered as a separate matter, if so requested by any member of Council, otherwise all items will be voted on with one (1) motion.

a)    September 13, 2021 Business Meeting Minutes Adoption.

b)    $80,000 to the School Board Operating Fund – second consideration and adoption of ordinance.

c)    $4,831 from the Circuit Court Document Copy reserve to the General Fund – second consideration/adoption of the ordinance.

d)    Appointment – Metropolitan Planning Organization:  Consider appointing Mr. Todd Wood to the Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board.

e)    Appointments – Transportation Advisory Committee Metro:  Consider appointing Ms. Alisande Tombarge as primary representative and Mr. Anthony Smith as an alternative representative to the Staunton Augusta Waynesboro Metropolitan Planning Organization Transportation Advisory Committee (SAW MPO TAC).

f)    Shenandoah Valley Social Services Advisory Board Appointment – Consider appointing a candidate to the Shenandoah Valley Social Services Advisory Board for a four-year term of October 1, 2021 ending September 30, 2025.

Rezone 1040 Reservoir Street – Second Consideration/Adoption of an Ordinance

Second consideration/adoption of an ordinance regarding a request by Mr. Jacob Turner to change the zoning of 1040 Reservoir Street from RG-5, General Residential, to R-MF, Multi-Family Residential.


8.

Resolution of Support – Virginia Economic Development Partnership Business Ready Site Program

Consider adopting a resolution in support of a Virginia Economic Development Partnership Business Ready Sites Program grant application.


9.

Appropriation Ordinance – Consider Introducing the Following Ordinance

$9,099 of fund balance from the Victim Witness restricted reserve and donations to the Victim Witness program to the General Fund.


10.

Appropriation Ordinances – Consider Introducing and Adopting the Following Ordinances

a)    $23,600 of grant revenue for the Safe Routes to School Grant to the Youth and Family Services Fund. 

b)    $1,281 of revenue received by the Parks and Recreation Department to the General Fund.

c)    $3,000 of rent revenue from subleasing 110 North Wayne Avenue for additional rent expenditures.

d)    $1,176 of reimbursements received by the Police Department to the General Fund.

e)    $410 of revenue received from the sale of scrap to the Water Fund.
