Voter Information for November Election

VOTER INFORMATION 

CITY OF WAYNESBORO

NOVEMBER 3, 2020

No Excuse Absentee Voting is taking place at 250 S. Wayne Ave, Suite 204 Waynesboro VA every week day from 9:00AM to 1:00PM and from 2:00PM to 5:00PM.  You will need only to show one ID or if you don’t have one on you, you will sign an ID Confirmation Statement.

DROP BOX:   There is a voter drop box in the front of the Gorsuch Building, 250 S. Wayne Avenue, Waynesboro.  The security guard will show you where you need to deposit your ballot or voter forms.  There is also a security camera.  This is for City of Waynesboro voters ONLY.

MAILED BALLOTS:  If you requested an absentee ballot by mail, those were mailed on Thursday, September 17thd, 2020.  If you decide to vote in person, you will need to bring that ballot with you the Director of Elections office or with you should you decide to vote in person at the polls on Election Day.

DEADLINE FOR IN PERSON NO EXCUSE VOTING:  The deadline to vote in person is Saturday, October 31st, 2020.   The office will also be open on Saturday, October 24th, 2020.  The hours will be 9AM to 5PM.

RETURN OF MAIL BALLOTS:  The USPS is working very diligently to get ballots to you and back to us, we have received a numerous amount of voted ballots to date.  Your ballot will be counted as long as it is received by Election Day or postmarked by Election Day and received in our office by noon on Friday, November 6th, 2020.  

VOTER INFO/ABSENTEE ONLINE/BALLOTS:  You can register to vote online and apply for an absentee ballot as well as track your ballot on the Department of Elections Website:   elections.virginia.gov 

VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE:  OCTOBER 13TH, 2020 5PM IN THE OFFICE OR MIDNIGHT ONLINE.

ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST DEADLINE:  FRIDAY, OCTOBER 23RD, 2020 5PM.
