The Waynesboro Police Department is requesting assistance from the public to help identify two individuals involved in a credit card forgery and fraud spree. Over the weekend, the man and woman team racked up nearly $4,000 in purchases from stores in Waynesboro, Harrisonburg and Albemarle County using a cloned credit card. The credit card information was stolen from a Waynesboro woman who alerted police when she discovered the bogus charges.On November 17, 2015, the 36 year old victim reported that she had been notified about several unauthorized purchases on her credit card that had been made between November 14 and 16. The purchases were made in several area stores from Harrisonburg to Albemarle County including $2,400 in purchases at seven Waynesboro stores. The dates and stores visited by the suspects are as follow:

The suspects’ images were captured on several of the store’s surveillance systems. Both are African American. In several pictures, the suspects are seen pushing a baby stroller.
