The EDA directs strategic planning initiatives, oversees economic development incentives, and leads outreach efforts to the business community. The EDA offers low-interest loans to small and mid-sized businesses, administers tax incentives to retain and grow jobs and investment, revitalizes communities through redevelopment initiatives, and supports entrepreneurial development. The economic development efforts are designed to increase community prosperity, allowing the total economy to thrive through increased personal disposable income, greater capital investment in businesses, and an enhanced quality of life. the EDA Board meets on the second Friday of each month at 8:00 a.m., 301 West Main Street, Waynesboro, VA.
